Effective date: March 8, 2026
FileKit does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Period.
FileKit processes all files entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. We do not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind.
Every operation — image compression, format conversion, PDF merging, video compression — happens 100% locally on your iPhone or iPad. Your files are never uploaded to any server.
FileKit does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no SDKs collecting data in the background.
FileKit Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple's App Store and StoreKit framework. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs these transactions.
FileKit makes no network requests except for subscription validation through Apple's StoreKit, which is handled by the operating system. We have no servers and no backend infrastructure.
Files you process with FileKit are accessed only during the processing operation and are stored in your device's temporary directory. You can clear these temp files at any time from Settings. We never access, read, or copy your files for any other purpose.
FileKit does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no data is collected, there are no special provisions needed.
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Given our zero-data-collection approach, we do not anticipate significant changes.
If you have questions about this privacy policy, please open an issue on our GitHub repository.
